Ali Mohebi, PhD
I am a behavioral neuroscientist, with post-graduate training in electrical engineering, who is broadly interested in the circuit mechanisms of learning and decision making, photography and baking. Currently, I live in San Francisco, CA.
People often find meaning and purpose in their lives by becoming a part of something bigger and longer-lasting than themselves. For some people, this could be sports or religion or arts and crafts. However, academia and the pursuit of scientific knowledge is the lifeline that connects me to those who came before me and will come after me. Being part of the neuroscience community investigating brain and behavior has become a central focus of my life. I feel incredibly fortunate and privileged to have made it this far.
